Calling all Seniors: Save the Date for Senior Food Rescue Day on Sunday, April 7th

Calling all seniors to save the date for Senior Food Rescue Day, our grade level event. On Sunday, April 7th, we will be partnering with Food Rescue to collect food from local businesses and deliver it to shelters in need. We plan to have fun while doing good by meeting as a group in the high school parking lot for refreshments, then teaming up before we head out. Details coming soon.

If you have any questions, please email VP Philanthropy Susan Welch.

OUR MISSION:
For parents and sons to initiate and promote educational and charitable endeavors that foster community responsibility and leadership, as well as strengthen the parent-son relationship.  SLOB members currently serve over 30 philanthropic organizations with over 70 different events, ranging from stocking shelves at the food pantry and clearing trails on our land trust properties to playing poker with our senior citizens. SLOBs is the largest service club at New Canaan High School and has served our community with over 30,000 volunteer hours.
