The Rotary Club of New Canaan’s 34th Annual Family Lobsterfest took place on September 21st and 22nd at the New Canaan Historical Society. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to local non-profit organizations. SLOB members and their parents helped out by unpackaging goods, taking orders,unloading items from trucks, shucking corn, washing and clearing trays and serving delicious lobster with butter. I loved talking to the customers and hearing about why they always come back to the Lobsterfest every year. Seeing the smiles upon the faces of many when I volunteered was truly an amazing experience. Thank you to all who volunteered their time to help out at the Loberfest this year!
