The annual Lobsterfest is always a fun event for Slobs and their parents! This year Rotary held a hybrid event where the community could pick up lobster meals or dine at the Waveny Pool Pavilion. Slobs helped to deliver meals to the never ending line of cars, served food to in person diners, washed trays, cleaned up and directed traffic.
Rotary Club President, Rob Fryer, thanked the boys and their parents and commented on how important Slobs’ volunteerism is to the success of Lobsterfest year after year! Next year, we may be back to an in person event at the NC Historical Society like in past years pre-Covid.
