SLOBs collected over 90 bags of donations of food, toiletries and paper goods from SLOBs members to give to the Little Free Pantry. Located at St. John's Lutheran Church in Stamford, the Little Free Pantry was opened in September of 2020 to provide confidential support for anyone in need. The pantry is open 24 hours and clients can visit and take what they need from the selection of food items. It is completely anonymous for clients. No sign-up is required. When SLOBs arrived the shelves were pretty bare but by the time we left they were full! We stocked the indoor shelves and filled the outdoor pantry.
