SLOBs recently worked hard for the New Canaan Land Trust while adhering to all State of CT pandemic guidelines. They were called on to help with the Hicks wall project which included cleaning up their entrance. Mr. Lefland, Executive Director of New Canaan Land Trust wrote, "Great work to all involved! The wall looks terrific, and I am glad that we’re putting in the extra effort to make this last segment match the rest the wall. As Haik mentioned, the SLOBs have been vitally important members of the Land Trust’s stewardship team. I wish I had a running total of the number of linear feet of stone wall that they have helped us to built (or the total weight of stones lifted). It would be an incredible number."
